Some sort of tag game that happens in parallel to TIMV. At the beginning, one player is assigned as “it”, and can hit another player to make them “it”. They can’t tag the person who tagged them back. Whoever is “it” shows up as such in the tab menu. There is some downside (TBD) to being “it”
Possible downsides:
- poison or some other bad potion effect
- lose karma at end of game (not fun)
- your location is shown to the traitors
- if you’re an inno, everyone (except for the person who tagged you) can kill you without losing karma regardless of your role. or maybe even gain a small amount (5? in addition to any positive amount they’d get)
Additionally, to prevent a big group getting together and punching each other to pass it around, it might make sense to give some permanent debuff for each time you were tagged. ie maybe for every time you’ve been tagged, you have 1 less heart available (this wouldn’t apply to traitors)
The benefit of this would be giving the innocents a secondary game to play, and encouraging people to run around the map to preventing clumping up around the tester on the maps where people like to do that.
