Background
The use of VPN and proxies is not allowed on KIG Network. We receive little to no legitimate traffic from those, so this change mostly benefits regular players. Additionally, we might block certain IPs for suspicious traffic.
False Positives
If you are not using a VPN/proxy (or you don’t know what that is), chances are your IP was wrongly marked as belonging to a known proxy service. Contact us using the email below to report this.
Similarly, it could be the case that you’ve been assigned an IP address we blocked for suspicious traffic. This is also a false positive, so please report it to the email below.
Exemptions
We understand that you might be using a VPN/proxy for a valid reason, so we’ll gladly exempt your account from this blacklist if you’re using the service for any of the following criteria:
- Geo-blocking: if your country/ISP does not allow traffic to our servers, you are allowed to use a VPN/proxy to circumvent this.
- Privacy concerns: we gladly support using VPNs/proxies to preserve anonymity on the Internet, so you’re allowed to use one in such cases.
All requests are manually reviewed, and you can only request an exemption for up to two accounts (not IPs). These exemptions are not final and can be withdrawn by us at any time, at our discretion. Please note that requests may be turned down in some cases, e.g. if you have a bad account reputation.
